When to call us immediately

What to do while you wait
- Turn the system off at the thermostat. Running a failed unit can turn a small repair into a compressor.

- Run ceiling fans. They do not cool the room, but moving air makes people feel several degrees cooler.
- Drink water, and move everyone to the lowest floor, which stays coolest.
- If you see ice on the refrigerant lines, leave the system off and let it thaw. Do not chip at it.
